Yeah, that's the recommended package for XP. What issues are you having?

I play WoW and Crysis. Screen starts to tear then I either freeze for 10-15 seconds or completely crash. Even on WoW on LOW LOW settings!

Are the refresh rates and everything else all right?

You can try a previous driver version. Guru3D has all of them. Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the 169.21 drivers?

I just installed the brand new drivers. I am gonna try them out when I get back from picking up some bird food. :-)



I am not sure when the last set of drivers worked for me. This has been happening through the last 3-4 drivers i've used in the last 3-4 months.

I started having this problem with wow. I'm helping a friend sell his account and need to access the game to get stats off of it. I've played wow before on this computer, and it was working fine till yesterday...it's weird. I'm reinstalling it to see if it helps.

are you getting a "drivers shut down" error and then everything goes to 4bit colors till you reboot?

Scary, you mention refresh rates. How will that effect the game crashing? what refresh rates are bad?

I played WoW on low settings again... still tears up and crashes!
