Which monitor should I get?

There is a big price difference but that doesn't really matter. I would just like to hear your opinions on it.

For one, stay away from these noname brands and the Wal-mart garbage and everything else. Yeah, they're cheap, but they are cheap for a reason.



That LG will simply smoke that V7. Far superior monitor in just about every spec. Actually, I'm staring at an LG right now, a couple models up from that one, and it's incredible. For the price you're not going to beat it, so buy it.

The reason I went to Best Buy today was to get the Samsung or Westinghouse, sold out when I got in.

Also, how old is that LG monitor? I can't find any reviews on it.

The reason you can't find reviews on it is because they are brand new. All I could find was user reviews on mine as well.



As for the LG vs. Samsung, I know at least my LG has better DP than the Samsung. Not sure about that one, although I would imagine it would be the same. The contrasts aren't even close. Build quality is pretty close. I think the LG is still the better buy. I have read other Samsung reviews for the widescreens where the LG was favored significantly by users that returned the Samsung for the LG.



I dunno. Up to you, but I would get the LG.

What is DP? Could you post links, or name of the site, of where you read the reviews about people changing? I googled and didn't find anything like that.

I'll probably go with Samsung because I found a better deal on buy.com, but I would like to know what DP is and curious to read the reviews you read.

DP is dot pitch.



Guy, I'll be honest. With all the things I have on my plate, I could care less which monitor you bought. But one thing is for certain. Your mind is already made up, so I'm not going to waste my time trying to change it for you.
