vga cord from my monitor was cut....HELP

i think it is.. but, its definatey worth a try



connect the same colour cable to eachother again,, isolate each cable ight again, and you'll be just fine

First, strip off the rubber coating of the cable, then you'll need to strip all the little cables, then tie each of them together and use electrical tape to keep them in place and so they dont touch each other. It may work, it may not, or you may see a decrease in quality. But it's worth a try.

lol, a soldering iron would help. but i prolly wouldent trust myself with a soldering iron, or a ghetto-ass vga cable. you can get a new cable online if need be. how did you cut it anyways?

it was actually my moms computer. she was moving the monitor and got the cable caught in the door, she then shut the door and in half it went.

look on the monitor's backside.

comes the cable out of the case, or is it a plug on the backside of the monitor?

because, if its a plug, i would reccommend getting a new cable.

ofcourse you can tru to fix it, but its pretty likely you would have a lot of distorsion on your screen
