XTX 6800GT Overclocking

right im thing of overclocking the graphics card.

At stock its 350/1000, PCI 100mhz

What should i do first ?

Buy a better GPU heatsink/fan, Or just start overclocking it.

Also what should be a good target to aim for oc`in this card ??

i have my xfx6800GT running @ 400/1100 now on stock cooling, with a idle temp of 40*C.. so you can oc it

I will have a go at that, just one other thing it gives u a option of 2D standard or 3D pro ? what do you do for that ??

as far as i know, the 3D application is used in games.

so.. in windows my grafics are running @ the standard clock ( 2D ).

and in games it runns OC'd.

but,.. im not 100% shure of that.

nevertheless,.. i saw a major improvement when playing FEAR

Oc it to the 6800 ultra specs it should run fine with the stock cooling
