Tv Tuner Card

Well I have been looking at some tv tuner cards lately, but there is a problem. I have no idea what I am looking for. Ok so here come the questions:

-I would like the card to be below 50 bcuks

-recording capable (tv shows that is)

-good tv picture, since this will be my tv. I'm living in a dorm (what kinda of quality should I expect? would someone be willing to post a picture?)

-remote

-how does the sound work on these? I have a sb audigy 2zs plat. Do I need any adapters?

-what is the maxx resolution I can get with these

-good company

-must work with computer specs (below)

If you need any other info just ask.

Thanks for all the help in advance, Bob.

TV Cards arnt the best quality, they will be no where near DVD quality. What i have heard is that its around the same as analog tv broadcasts. And with the sound, you just hook it up into the line in on your sound card, so its not going to be the best sound.

Look at some TV Tuners on www.newegg.com, they have many that are under $50 and have good reviews.

I have a Winfast TV2000 that cost $45 and it works great. It's definately not dvd quality, but for the purpose of watching TV and recording shows, it works great! The quality is actuvally very nice (cept for the lower channels, which has a hard time picking up good signals for some reason). I bought mine from Tigerdirect. If you want, the software lets me take snapshots of the TV shows, and I can send you some samples if you'd like.
