Video card $70-100

My friend is building a computer, and the system is 3000+ amd, GA-K8n gigabyte mobo, 160gb sata, and a x300 vid card, and he has a few extra bucks to spend. i am suggesting an upgrade on vid card, considering its his weakest component. so, find me the best video card ON NEWEGG that is between $70-$100. it can be OEM, not refurbed. thanks.

for an AGP Card, the ATI 9600XT 256MB is an excellent choice.

PCI express 16x, and it would be nice if it was 128MB cuz i hear they aer faster. as you can see, im not an expert in the area of graphics cards, so im asking you

Either the Geforce 6200 or the Radeon X300, I would go with the 6200 because I've heard you can unlock some of the pipelines.

the only reason to get a 128mb over a 256mb is if your getting an older card, where the memory makes it run a little slower, but for high-end cards, you want at least 256mb. For your price range you can have either a 128 or 256, they would both work good. (And just a note, not everything in a video card is about speed). But since your getting PCI Express, i would reccommend either the x550 or x600.

you can get a much better card then the x300 for the $70-$100 range, and the X300 and 6200 are fairly crappy cards. I would go with the x550 or x600.
