128mb 6600GT vs. 256mb 6600GT

Would it be worth an extra 300 AUSTRALIAN dollars to get the 256 over the 128? Would there be any real perfermance differnece to warent the extra money spent?

not sure what that is in U.S.D, but it doesnt sound like its worth it. It would only be worth it if it were under $50 USD or so for it, but anything over that wouldnt be worth it. You might as well get a 6800gt for that much.

nevermind. i wsa just re-reading the catalogue and it was a 128 6600 vs. a 256 6800.

i thought that was a waaaay to big price gap.
