lcd and console help

Hi all, what I'm trying to do is hook up my xbox to my lcd monitor. I do not have a tv since I am already routing cable tv through my computer, therefore this is the only display I can hook my xbox up to.

The problem I am having is finding a suitable way of converting the xbox video (rca) to work with my monitor. I have already tried converting the rca to coax cable and splitting that into my computer, but the time it takes for the xbox video signal to travel through my computer, get processed and then displayed - creates about a 4 second delay from the time that I push a button on the controller. So I decided I would try to convert it directly to connect to my monitor (in either DVI or standard analog). However I am having the hardest time finding any type of converter that will allow me to do this. If you have any constructive suggestions please let me know.

I would rather not have to buy a tv to be able to play my xbox. Especially because I don't have room for a tv in my appt. Thanks in advance for any help.
