Why Monitor Why

For some reason unknown to me my monitor has been turning off everyother minute and then coming back on in like 10 seconds......but it hasnt turned off as i am typing this so maybe it has to do with hitting buttons or something......can anyone tell me how to fix this or tell me what is wrong?................no nvm it turned off while i was typing plz help me!!!

at first i would say that the monitor is slowly dying, be prepared to buy a new one. second, you could check monitor settings, perhaps they have been fiddled with.

Actually its a rather new monitor and i checked the monitor settings they are fine
