If i have a 305W PSU and Pci-e x16 wat is the best gfx card i can get that will be compatiable and able to run with my 305w?

Wrong, the GF6600GT recommended PSU is 350Watts, otherwise the card won't work properly with the rest of the comp. The +12V rail should be atleast running at 25Amp

I think you mean x16
the 6600GT would be pushing that psu but I herd of 305 working them before as long as you have a good 12 volt rail.

A normal ATX power supply would have a 20 pin connector that would plug into the MOBO it looks like this http://www.flipchip.net/images/atxcon.jpg
