I am currently looking into these two graphic cards. Since I will be either buying
Asus P5ND2-SLI Deluxe or P5WD2 Premium.
Can anyone give some opinion on which card to choose with which mother board to produce the best result?...
Which two cards? Looks to me like you only listed one of them..

Well I know with the SLI motherboard, you're going to need the nVidia card to use SLI. Also, the 7800GTX is much, much more powerful than the X850. In addition the ATI card doesn't support pixel shader 3. Pixel shader 3 is used in a couple of cames now, and it is expected to be used in a number of future games such as UT 2006. Only the nVidia 6000 and 7000 series support pixel shader 3.

and you do know that when you buy the two nvidia cards to sli they will both need to be the same make and model.
You can not sli 2 ati card. ATI have just stared to release there sli equivelent called cross fire, which actually gives you more choice of graphics card allowing you to use different ATI models.
