9600 xt problems

I just bought a radeon 9600 xt and I have a problem. I'm trying to view my computer via the S-video port. I try to mess around with the settings and once and a while I see blue squares. It's not the tv, thats brand new. I guess I'm just wondering what settings I should be using. Also, I'm wondering the best display settings are for this card.

i actually just bought a 9600XT also, i havent tried to hook it up to the tv yet. So are you hooking it up via a svideo cord? or are you using the adapter to convert svideo to regular video? I'll try it later tonight and see if i can get mine to work. Also, check out the display properties, because you can add a tv and adjust the settings there.

There's an adapter from S-Video to RCA ("regular video", i'm assuming)? How much does that run?
