laptop graphics question.

ok im getting compaq Presario 2100 laptop and i wana know if i can upgrade the graphics? or will the curent graphic card be fine? the laptop has 64 radeon igp 320, AMD athalon xp 2800+ and 512mhz or ram, is that enough for average gaming? any help would be great.

No, you won't be able to upgrade the graphics card, unless you have an Alienware labtop (the one that lets you change it). What do you mean by average gaming? What games?

lots of laptops have 'addin' graphics cards, HP has lots so I assume Compaq does as well. Weither yours has upgradability I don't know

average gaiming is like what most computer gamers will play i donno but if i can id like to play HL2, rct3 sim city 4 ect.(those are the games im thinking of getting first). is there like a slot in laptops that u can add a card maybe?

The graphics card you mentioned will most likely not be good for those games you named.

There is a slot to change your graphics card in the Alienware laptop I've seen before, but I don't think so in other laptops..

i just read the IGP will handle HL2 @ a decent frame rate but will look all shity . oh well, il be an improvment over my curent setup . may try to sell it/trade it so i can get a desktop insted.
