256 MB question

hi, I was just wondering, you know how to run Doom 3 on Ultra settings, you need a 512 MB GPU, and no card exsists yet, what would happen if you linked two say NVIDIA 6800 ULTRA 256 MB graphics card together like Alienware can do nowadays. Would it have an effect?

Id like to see you try and get HEIDI drivers to emulate DirectX or OpenGL .... especially since its not supported in hardware.....
