I want to record tv shows to my pc,how do i get really good,"clear" quality video.



Is the graphics card a factor?



Or do i just need to get a good tv tuner card?







I'm using a crappy old Intel direct agp 3D card with 11mB video memory.

By making sure the source is HDTV/Sattelite. Anything else wont really matter all that much as it'll roughly be VHS quality.



If its got TV/VIVO capability, yes. If you're looking for a single card solution, ATi's AIW and nVidia's Cinema series work quite well

Erm if i want to stick with my crappy graphics card,will i "still" be able to get



recorded video with good resolution just with an addition of a new quality



tuner card.







Or that i'll have to upgrade my graphics card to get that clarity video?

In your case you might want to consider buying an all in one.. TV Tuner and Video card..
