PCI graphic card

What is the best PCI graphic card you can get. The best I could find was

well u can prob find the best agp card in pci version but it might be easier to get it in a store rather than on teh internet but w/e keep on tryin

Thanks for showing me this, I'm sick of this Radeon 9200 already, I want something with a bit more grunt, and that FX5700LE would do just that

I thought they stopped making PCI cards after the Radeon 9250 PCI

the 5700LE is the latest card you can get on PCI. This is becuase any card newer or better than that would probably die of bordom cos the bandwidth on the PCI slot istelf is so slow.

You COULD get better cards (i've heard of but never seen AGP-PCI adapters). But becuase PCI is just slow in general you wont see any noticable improvment in performance or quality because the FX5700LE is basically the 'limit' of what PCI can do. And the 'LE' is crap as well.

If you're a hardcore gamer, you're gonna want an AGP card (or for future-proofing a PCI-eXpress card) It'd be worth upgrading your mobo or getting a new computer if you're a heavy gamer.

That what I told my friend but he dont want to spend the money for a new computer so the geforce fx 5700LE will half to do. It still a big improvement over his intergrated graphics.

ya well i can now play half life 2 on ful blast (and this is kinda an inside scenerio so some of u guys wont no wut im talking about) now that i bought a new 512 viking pc2100 and theres no lag and each map loads up in about 10 secs so i dont think that pci's are all that bad its just that its the usb of internal hardware so agp would be faster since its made for graphics cards and not anything else

well i didnt mean all but when i went to compusa they had half pci's and agp's so i would assume it would be the same and wince im not a "computer addict" or anything i dont no evrything
