Freezing

In many games I play the computer freezes.

It didn't happen before, but it has been happening since some time now, and I don't know what to do...

I've already tried checking for viruses, for spyware, defragging, but nothing works.

What can I do?

Control Panel>Display>Settings it will say something like:

Display:

Plug and Play Monitor on -Graphics card info here-

Once you know the manufacturer&model you can browse the driver section of the relavent site for video drivers for your computer.

At the moment I'm not by the computer that has the problem, but I've searched and found that there is an update button for the driver.

Would it be useful?

Can it be 3dfx?

Or maybe Microsoft?

[Edit] By the way, I tried clicking on update, but there were no other drivers available, as it'll only search on my computer and on Windows Update...
