ati 9600XT 256mb problem

i dont know if this is the right place to ask this question but...



i recently brought a new 9600xt and whenever i bootup i can see these verticle lines on screen in the bios, the window logo and the all my games. it appears to be fine on my desktop as i dont see the lines.



i downloaded the lastest driver for the card and motherboard



any help will be great.

What monitor do you have? Test your computer with another monitor too.
Try making a screen capture from one of those games and post it here.

Sounds like the monirot isnt so happy at lower res (or it doesnt work so well in fullscreen mode)
