ati driver question

does anyone know if ati is making a new driver to compete with nvidia?

they where rewriting there opengl last I heard. there direct X is already top notch.

LOL i dunno if id say the competition between ATi and nVidia has gone to competing with drivers

(cuz its simply not marketable enough)

Ya but I think what he meant was so that ATI's video cards can compete because alot of performance issues in games like Doom3 are basicly because ATI does not have as good an opengl driver as Nvidia. ATI is totaly Re-writing their driver because they know it too be true :-)..

Actualy it's Nvidia's :-).. Direct X is ati's.
