Hello everyone I'm new here what's up!! I need an external sound card for my Gateway laptop model MT6459 ferreal. My lappy didn't come with a "Wave Out Mix" option...and I know the little trick where you go to sound/record/right-click on the backround/click "show disabled devices crap so don't be tryin that wit me!!!! It doesn't work lol. So my question is, what do I need to buy. Do most sound cards come with a Wave Out Mix that is applied once you plug it into the computer? I know about the creative labs sound cards and those look cool. But I just want to be sure I don't spend my X-mas money on a crapshoot. UMMMM what's the difference between 'Line Out' and 'Wave Out?' Same thing?? I doubt it. But the main question I'm asking is are there sound cards available with Wave Out Mix. I appreciate any help I get. Unless it's not helpful haha. The reason for the madness? I am a musician/composer who wants to record guitar pro tracks with creative media source and then convert them into mp3's with creative audio source and then put them onto my iPod so I can listen to my music instead of Dimmu Borgir or Three 6 Mafia everywhere I go b/c my music is made for God and is not of the world so to speak.
