Need Your Input Please :-)

Hey...I'm a college student and live in a apartment style dorm and am looking for speakers for my computer under $100 range with good quality...I like my music loud but doesn't have to be glass shattering because I have roommates and stuff....

the first one is a creative zen and second one is bose



I don't know anything about sound...I will mainly use speakers to listen to music....classic rock and some rock...some rap...



What's the most bang for the buck? and also could you give some reccommendations?



Like i said I live in a dorm so I would prefer them to be small and without a subwoofer....I would like them to be included in the speakers..I don't want to drag them around every year in the summer

well bose is the way 2 go. get bose speakers that cap at or near $100 or put a lil more cash into it. But def get bose if you want clear beautiful load music....

i cant find anywhere that says how many watts rms they are. but yeah.

i would have to say that if your looking for nice sound then you do want a subwoofer. you could just have it turned halfway down or something.

but if portability is necessary then....

In the home theater world, Bose are frowned upon for being over priced and generally poor performers. I would go with the Logitechs mainly because they are a well known computer speaker brand and reviews I've seen for the Z-10's are fairly positive.
