Sound problems

Hi all

Lately I'ive had problems with my sound. In a few games (crysis demo, and WoW are the 2 I've found so far) the sound is horrible. It's crackly and poppy and sounds like my speakers blew, except in some games the sound is fine. If anyone has an idea of what might be wrong or has the same problem and has any helpful hints, they would be greatly appreciated.

Well try a couple things. Make sure you have the latest sound drivers and or reinstall them. See that you have enough power going to the speakers. Check for a loose wire or frayed wire.

Thats all I can think of...

i updated my drivers at the request of a friend... *cough brianmay27 * and the problems still persist...but ill check for broken/breaking wires and such
