5.1 From a laptop??

im wanting to get 5.1 audio from the comp in my sig. it only has two audio ports (headphone, and mic). i was planning on getting this system

for my laptop and also to connect to my xbox 360 wich i play through my 22" widescreen lcd. so... does anyone know how i can get 5.1 audio with this set up?? i would like to NOT spend another load to get an external usb "sound card"/reciever. so any and ALL suggestions are MUCH appreciated.

USB sound card is the only way I knew. Not really expensive, in my option.

You would need an external sound card, either a USB one such as one posted above, or one that uses the expansion slot, such as Creative's Audigy 2 or X-Fi Notebook Edition.

Creative is normally a good choice for sound devices, I would probably go for that too
