which ones should i get?

Hey all,

My speakers have died,the headphone jack is not working properly and sometimes no sound comes out of them,Its definatly the speakers

The DEAD speakers i currently have are Harmon/Kardon which i got with my pc quite some time back.



Anyway im looking for some new ones,my max budget is £20 - $40 . ....yeah yeah go on say i wont be able to get decent speakers with £20 but i just want basic speakers.
Obviusly i wont get the best quality sound with a set of £20 speakers but i dont need a sub woofer,Just the two speakers but the MUST have a headphone jack.

so out of these 2 choices what would you choose?
im thinking about choice :1 but :2 look good aswell.

You not considered 5.1?

i think for a 5.1 at least you'd need to spend $100 or more.

yeah i think i will get the logitechs,Nah im not intrested in 5.1 and afterall they are too expensive.

i just want some basic speakers because about 90% of the time anyway i use my headphones in them so theres no point in me getting like 5.1 speakers with sub woofer and everything

For £4 more you can get 5.1 speaker from Ebuyer, the ones I was looking at

Yeah i know,But like i said before i prefer to purchase in a store because i simply dont trust buying things online and giving out card details.

Well i decided to pick up the Logitech X-140s today and they are great,Bigger than i expected but the sound quality from them are MUCH better than my previus speakers.
