Constant fuzzy noise, acts like normal sound...

When ever I turn on my Speakers, I hear this fuzzy noise coming out of my left speaker. Now If I press MUTE, or turn the volum down on the spearkers, you can't hear it. Now if I connect my speakers to a CDplayer, the sound is gone. Its something to do with my computer. I unplug everything and reconnected, nothing. I restarted my compuer, nothing. NOrmal sound works, but I keep getting this fuzzy sound and its really annoyin

Thanks

That's called RF or IF interference where a non shielded portion is picking up electrical or rf emmissions and there's not too much you can do for that except swap out the sound card if not onboard, splice a new plug on the left speaker. etc. there. Any amplified source such as a set of speakers will pick up sounds like an audio hiss when lacking a good ground. Ever touch the tip of the plug while the speakers weren't plugged in but still on? "hhhhmmmm..." "zziitttt" "bbbbbuzzzzz...." You'll hear it all.
