No centre speaker

I'm using an Asus PK5 deluxe motherboard that comes with integrated 8 channel audio and Creative 5.1 surround speakers (M5300 series.) Using the soundMAX audio utility, I get it to test the speakers and the centre speaker doesn't work. I checked connections, swapped speakers and to no avail

Wondering how to get it to work....

reinstall drivers then see if asus tech support can give you any insight. may be a bad board.

It won't want to be a bad board. This is already my replacement from the last one... capacitor was charcoled black.

Fixed. I will reiterate my advice that I always give.... When reinstalling drivers, REDOWNLOAD THEM. The very fact that it's not working could be that your original driver is screwed.
