p5nsli audio

My audio jack on my p5nsli does not seem to be working... buying a new souncard should fix that correct....



core2du @ 2.4 .. 2gb 6400 ram.. Mobo asus p5nsli



sli 7900 and my psu is 750... game x tream i believe...



I just could never get the mic to work.. im thinking i should buy a usb mic or maybe a sound card.. any thoughts?

if the audio jack isnt working then the drivers have problems or you have a bad board. a new sound card would likely fix that problem but you should have the board replaced if you can (within warranty).

Hey impulse thanks for responding.... I got a new sound card... still not working... tried three different mics... USB works... but quality seems bad.... Its so frustrating? any ideas?



I have windows media center... dont know if that is a reason....

any help is great
