i just purchased the logitech x - 530 speaker set.



my sound card is a

this could be my graphics card



nvidia geforce 7600 gs



then if thats my graphics card my sound card is i think a creative sb live .....



any way i can tell



the problem is that i can only hear 3 out of 5 speakers i am thinking that this sound car is only 2 channel not 4 is this correct. any help would be good guys....



how do i tell what sound card i have and then lets take it from there.

Start > Run > dxdiag

Click the Sound tab. What's it say?

7600 gs is your vid card
creative sb live would be sound

a couple hundred

For that money why not make a better upgrade to your system performance wise? Ram, cpu, gpu?

i have 1.5gb ram

all that doesnt fix my speaker problem ?

i bought 5.1 channel speakers, i need to know if my sound card is 2 or 4 channel. any ideas how to find this out!
