What should I get

I'm looking to hook my old PC to my TV to play nintendo emulators and other lower end emulators. I have a stereo...a decent one, and am wondering if I can hook up the Computer too it, and which card I would need. I woldnt really do anything but play these emulators on the computer so it wouldnt have to be Dolby 5.1 or dts or anything because the DVD player in the stereo already has that. Would it just be easier to hook up computer speakers to the existing card?

I bought one of these cheapo's about a year ago to put in an old P2 PC and it does what it's told. Does that computer not already have sound?
