Choosing a sound card

I'm going to want to get a sound card even tho my motherboard has onboard sound because its just shitty... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131096

Is this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16829102005 a good choice for the money or what should I be looking for in a solid sound card. I hook my computer up through the headphone jack to my reciever then to a 5.1 system that I've put together. What do you think is my best bet?

Thanks

For a micro atx board I would simply go with a 5.1 surround speaker set. For Vista and the latest top sound out that would be Creative's idea there. It will depend on what type of case this will be going in and what version of Windows you will be running. For XP and so far to some degree for Vista the Audigy 4 Pro had to work here while not advised for Vista. And onboard sound does seriously lack the EAX seen in XP and won't be seen in Vista.
