What sound card?

I need a sound card for my Logitech X530 5.1 speakers.

on board has been ruled out do to certain circumstances so I need a dedicated card.

I want a Creative card because I think they have the best reputation and I don't want a no name card (already got one and didn't work... What a waste of money)

So what card should I get?

It will need to be able to support Vista and will be used for Gaming, Music and DVD's in that order.

I don't want to spend to much I was looking at a max of AU$100 could push to AU$150 if necessary.

Thanks

You're best bet is the X-Fi line, which ranges from around $50 to almost $300.

I would recommend the XtremeMusic at least if you can afford it.

i wouldn't recommend the xfi since any of the actual games dont use the full xfi experience and as well they are expensive however they are a good investment in the near future once direct 10 comes out so i would prefer them if your actually going to have directx10 if ur not going to have it ur going to waste your money and are better of with a card like creative audigy models which are way worth it for their money. And trust me u cant even tell the sound differnece

there only the x-530's and your telling him to get a $150 sound card that has all this tech. on it that those speakers don't have ?? i would just go with a sound blaster like this one. it will do everything them expensive ones do because your speakers can only do so much.
