How to buy a good speaker

I was looking at newegg and I found SOUND CARDS from $20-200~! why would you pay 200 for a sound card? it's just sound... can someone help choose a sound card for this motherboard?

im thinking about paying not too much for that since i'm paying a lot for the mobo and others.

If sound isnt that important to you, just keep using the onboard 8 channel sound card you have

Yes, your motherboard supports 7.1 channel speakers so it will support 5.1 channel speakers too.
