Onboard I have a Realtec ALC850 card....can you compare it to a Soundblaster Audigy SE PCI card. Is the audigy worth $30 more than the onboard?



I was told to change it for Midi/Wav recording reasons.

That's not really relevant, AND i told you in my post, MIDI/Wav recording



Im not looking for, "well, if youre doing THAT i'd sugges this card" Im just looking for a comparison of the cards in regards to recording, and 5.1 processing. Hope that clears it up a bit.
