I have a desktop PC and two laptops in my house anda Pionner Elite receiver (it can receive treaming music froma pc)

I have a D-Link Dl-524 wireless router.

I am trying to set up a network where i can aceess files and folders among the 3 PCs and the receiver.

I am a little confused(A lot confused actually

I have been reading up on networks and it sounds like I need an adapter card?? Since my desktop is already hooked up to my router, do I already have this network card? The desktop is connected to the router with an ethernet cable.

Is my router just an internet access point for the computers ? or will this allow me to link up my computers together?

My laptops are already linking to the router for internet access wirelessly, I just can not for the life of me figure what the heck I need to do to create the LAN.

Any help woul dbe greatly appreciated.
