linksys WRT54G question.


the cisco systems light on my router is lite up orange. it happened after i updated my firmware. the internet works perfect. can someone tell me why its on.thanks

My old Linksys did the same thing. The new firmware most likely fixed a problem with the router. Don't worry about it as long as the internet works.

Reboot your modem and router and see if that changes anything.

My one stays lit, I am pretty sure it is meant to be on so you can read 'Cisco Systems'

that button is there for easy setup, if you press and hold it, it flashes white and auto detect everything, orange means youre connected

i have the WRT54GS
