Mouse problems...

Have bought a Trust Laser MI-7500X wireless mouse, and at the moment it looks like it`ll become the source of endless frustration....

Plugged it in, everything LOOKED perfect, and the cursor moved. Had a cup of coffee, and moved the mouse. Nothing. Found out I had to left-click to get things started agiain. Thought that this was just some "energy-saving device", but soon discovered the horrible truth.... When left "un-used" for 2-3 seconds, I have to left-click if I want to use the mouse......

HELP! How can I change that timeframe so I`ll be able to use it after ____ seconds??

Thanks in advance

A very frustrated,

Have you tried using another mouse since this was first seen to see if the mouse.sys in Windows is corrupted? If a programmable model the software may likely have seen a bad install resulting in this type of problem where the standard cursor is locking due to a driver problem. Something running in the background clashing with the mouse's program may be another thing to look at there.
