USB Hub trouble :(

Hey guys



I seem to have an issue with my USB hub and I would like to know if it is a common problem or if I should get a new one?



I have my laptop with a port usb hub connected.



On this hub I have my mouse, keyboard and 2 hdd抯



I store my music externally and pretty much everything external. So some times when im listening to music or doing something else my computer will freeze, have a little fit and the music will repeat but like hard techno if anyone knows



Anyone else had this sort of problem and could offer advice?

Are the hard drives powered by USB or by some external source? Does the hub have any power besides from the laptop? Have you tried using some devices, specifically those drawing power from the laptop, on regular ports?

the hdd are powere externally and when used on normal ports are fine. i may try the mouse and keyboard as it may be those but i have changed the mouse and keyboard since then.
