keyboard/mouse works on old comp but not new?

i just finished building my own computer, but my wireless keyboard and mouse that worked perfect w/ my laptop, doesnt work w/ the new computer, the comp isnt bad and the batteries are fresh



the problem is, it doesnt read every keystroke, the mouse just stops movin for a few seconds at a time, sometimes it reads a key and keeps typin it on screen, i dont know, it works, but those few problems make it annoying, and impossible to play games



what could this be?

You have all of the mobo drivers install... specifically those that might deal with the USB ports?

my mobo cd when i put it in says this cd cannot support your mainboard

idk whats up w/ that

im just gonna go buy a new keyboard and mouse i guess, i finally got to use my roomates and his worked fine on my computer
