Logitech mx510 mouse prob

I just got a new motherboard, a asus p4p800E motherboard, and it does not recgonize the mouse when I put it in the usb ports. The thing that sucks is that I lost the adaptor. Any help would be greatly appreciated, because im lost.

the adapter? for the ps/2 slot? or do you mean the driver?

if you remember the model (which it seems like you do), u can try to go online and download the driver from logitech

I went on the website, and couldent find any drivers for my mx510 mouse. What should I do, I just dont want to let this mouse go to waste.

here is the driver.

just select the os on the side menu if you dont have xp.
