Questions about buying new camera

Hello Computer Forumers:



I am looking in buying a new digital camera. I was looking at the Canon SD1000 because it doesn't have a delay time pressing the button taking pictures. I am not sure what is that function call so I don't know what to look for in other brands of cameras. If anyone can tell me what does that call it would be great. I want a digital camera that doesn't have a delay time and would allow me to take couple shots in matter of secs. Please help me out. Thank you all in advance.

You want to look for a camera that has a manual shutter speed if possible or get one with a high shutter speed
