net user command problem in xp


hi guys

i got problem with net user command as i explain it below:

if you have user name which is seprated by space then net user does not woek for that user for example

if your ser name is :john smith (with space between )

and type :net user john smith 123 which mean change password of john... to 123 it give you error i have also tried this sturucture as well:



net user johnsmith 123

net user john20%smith 123 (20% in cmd mean space )but no resullt

any idea how to solve this matter

Did you try quoting the username?
e.g. "john smith".
