hope you plan on getting a new HDD or clearing out the one you have now, 'cause Millenium won't upgrade to vista, you need to have XP to do that, or you can go buy the Full version, which is more money and put that onto a new HDD...

If you are getting a new AMD chip, is it going to be Dual Core... If it is, Intel Dual cores are better at the moment and there are more motherboards that have the LGA775 socket.

Don't you mean Geforce FX 5*00, and then AMD 3800+?

About what you are buying; you don't need a hard drive cooler, and don't buy a power supply made my logisys. Just because it has LEDs doesn't mean that it is good.

I agree, DO NOT get Logisys, i bought a 480W, after a month, my PC wouldn't turn on unless i disconnected my webcam, mic(lol), speakers(USB powered)... Only "good thing", they are light as a feather lol

Too bad it won't work well as a paper weight because it is so light

i know right! , back to the subject, after that light-weight PSU (lol) i bought a Thermaltake 430W and it works perfectly, so i recommend a Thermaltake, dont know about other brands also i would buy simpler key/mice and normal fans for now, although they may not save you a lot of money but oh well...

Well, according to this page: http://www.msi.com.tw/program/produc...il.php?UID=511 NO, you cant put your "new amd chip" into this mobo, its socket A, if your chip is new, it should be socket AM2, besides it only has an AGP 8x slot for video cards, which you dont want, you want a PCI-e x16 slot for the newer cards...

If you tell me de characteristics of your AMD cpu (chip), i'll tell you a mobo that supports it...
