Ok, so I'm planning on getting a laptop for my friend, and basically I had an idea of what to get her just need others opinions and better variety of searching people. 
So I came here.
I originally was thinking of going with a toshiba laptop.
Her Interest: (what she wants)
-small
-light
-draw with her digi pad
-play music
-live chat (webcam, preferably built in to save her money, and at least the best built in one as well)
so what I gathered in my mind is.
15-17" monitor (lcd)
7300gs-7900 512 onboard hopefully(even 8400-8600 if relatively cheap) graphics card
2.2-2.6 ghz (intel core 2 duo)
1 gb ram (2gb ONLY IF VISTA IS OS)
xp pro (vista is a waste so you all know)
dvd-ram drive
2 usb
1 firewire
media card slot (5 in 1 media)
hm thats all I can come up currently, I feel like im missing something, but yeah.. that should be good.
she likes to do custom movies and avi's of herself normally and also likes to mess with pictures of herself when she takes them so having a very nice webcam would be suitable. Also since I thought built in would be more preferable, becasue its built in with the wire transfer at a higher pace, like the usb with out enough voltage to go through its slow..
hopefully they make decent built in with hd rendering capability?
