Laptop Temps


I have a compaq v6210us and speedfan says --- temp1 is 34c and core is 76c



Everest says gpu = 87 cpu = 76 idk if these are Celsius or Fahrenheit



the fan is on and idk if it is clogged i dont have a lot of things open



is this normal

ok why is the fan always on now (hasnt been before)

maybe your laptop has a spare fan and this is coming on because another one is broken.

Because it's getting hot due to old thermal paste and dusty fans.

ok i cleaned the fan vents and all went down 30 degrees
this probably did major cpu damage so im getting new comp in a few months

If you had major CPU damage, the thing wouldn't still run Heat can damage a processor, but typically any true damage done to a processor will kill it. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Do what i did, For 40 dollars i orderd a cooling pad and i bought to mini fans that fit perfectly on my desk for 20$. Laptops can fit good fans in. So you have to improvise, And if something burned out, youll no. Like If your prossecor died. I dont think your computer will work
