I've been planning to purchase a laptop and with the January sales round the corner it might be a good time to do so. I'll be connecting to the internet probably using a Vodaphone Express Card and the main use will be for internet betting, where speed will be important, and general web surfing. I'm not really interested in gaming (apart from online poker
) and storage space for photos, music etc is not important. From previous research I think I'd be looking for the following :-
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium
2GB Memory
120GB Hard Drive
15.4" Screen
2048MB DDRII Memory
Dedicated Graphics
Are any of the above more than I really need and what else should I be adding to this list?
I'd be grateful for any advice on any laptops under ?00 that would suit my needs.
