I am thinking about burning 30 or 50 identical DVD's (anticipate about 4.5 GB of data per disc including video and slide shows) for my church for promotional videos using my laptop (my desktop is old and does not have a dvd burner) and it is a $650 hp laptop. Does anyone know whether it is safe to do so, or is this too many disc to burn on one machine? Will this burn out the DVD on an average laptop? Thanks!
You should have no problems, you will have to just stand by to swap out the discs once they finish.

the software has to support it. Nero does.
For a large session buy a duplicator. they are cheap enough.
its a tower with no burners. make sure you buy all the same burners
and manufacture. trust me on this. tower 80 bucks and burners 40.00.
and maybe 5 or 6 burners. one wack bam!
done deal
