My parents are gettin me a laptop for graduation, and I was wondering what would be best.

Budget is a maximum of $1000, and I will be using it for pretty basic stuff. Word Processing, Internet, music, and so on. Also, would a wireless N card be compatible with 802.11a/g/b?
