about to order XPS m1710, few questions


al right well i am going to order my dell right now i'm sitting at 2,838

i've upgraded it to 2 gb ram, and put the 7950 GTX cuase i want to game(obviously)

now i'm just stuck on this part, as it's set up now it's going to come with

cor duo T7200(2.00 ghz,4mb l2 cache, 667 mhz

or for 200 more i could get a t7400. and for 470 i can get 7600

should i spend the extra cash and uprage or will it not change mu gaming performance and just skip it, i dont really fell like spending more then i am now

but what do u guys think?

If you have the money, go for it.

You would probably see some performance with your gaming going with a better processor, though depends on what games you'll be playing.

I reckon you should go to this link at Alienware.com and customize this computer to see what you get for aroud the same price.

Actually dont bother I just realised you were wanting a laptop.

But I still recommend a desktop as you get more performance for the price and they are more easily upgradeable

well obviously it's easier to upgrade a desktop, but u can't carry a computer around lol well u can get alienware computer for nor to much more.
