DNS Port

Hey there,

This is like my first post here. I am learning loads at the mo as i am getting ADSL and wanna host web pages!! I am doing this in Windows 2000 Server. I am 15 so please help cause hardly anyone bothers. What i need to know is what port or ports does DNS Server in Windows 2000 Sever run on??? Because i need to configure my Firewall. Also could you tell me if the ports are universal or not, i.i for Linux are they the same???
