Multiple Nameserver for a domain

hello,



i would like to ask if its possible to have multiple nameserver to a domain ?

you see i have a domain which alreasdy has 2 nameservers running ns2.testdomain.com and ns3.testdomain.com.i would like to add 1 additional nameserver to my testdomain.com.



eg. ns4.testdomain.com.



i already registered the ns4.testdomain.com to my domain registrar which is network solutions, the problem i getting right now is that i cannot add the additional ns4.testdomain.com to my zone, im using bind for my dns server.

What do you mean you can't add ns4 to your zone?



And what is your domain?

Yes, you can have up to 13 Name Servers for a domain name.

There are many registrars that imposes a shorter limit. Again, we need to know what you mean by not being able to add ns4, and what your domain is.
